Permanent magnet type motor is fully enclosed with a stainless steel shaft and has adequate torque to reverse the pump. Complies with USCG Electrical Standards 183.410 and ISO 8846 marine for ignition protection on gasoline powered vessels. Ports: 1/2" internal pipe threads, 1" external hose barb & 3/4" external garden hose adapter. NOT TO BE USED IN POTABLE WATER SYSTEMS.
