Outboard steering offers three models of steering cylinders to suit most applications: Front Mount, Side Mount, and Splashwell Mount.Front Mount cylinders are balanced and the most commonly used. Before ordering, determine the best application for the boat based on hull design, speed, and usage.Side mount cylinders are unbalanced and offer 4.8 or 5.7 turns lock-to-lock. It is suitable for shallow splashwells and use on engines fitted with power steering.
